Insurance Company Specification Bar Grilles
Internal and External Fixed Bars comprising of vertical 16 and 19mm solid round bars at 125mm centres, threaded and welded within 50 x 10mm horizontal tie bars , positioned every 600mm in height . Face or Reveal fitted using Frame fixings. Standard finish is chemical etch with polyester powder coat and the option of hot dipped galvanised for the most exposed locations.
Georgian Style and Ornate Bar Grilles
Internal Georgian Style Grilles typically comprise of 12mm square Bars , welded flush in a pattern to mirror the leaded lights of the window glazing and so become inconspicuous . In comparison ornate and decorative are available to customer designs where a visual character is required while still maintaining the fundamental elements of security . As with all our Bar Grilles options of hinging and locking for access are available along with polyester powder coat and exterior treatments.
Hinged Bar Gate
Hinged Security Gate manufactured individually to fit over a doorway, constructed of Vertical Fixed Bars of 16mm and 19mm solid round bar at 125mm centres , threaded and welded within a box section surround frame with horizontal tie bars every 600mm in height. The aesthetic appearance can be enhanced by decorative scrolls between the bars. Locking from the inside and outside provided by a five lever mortice deadlock .Security is further enhanced by a full length anti – jemmy strip . Standard finish in exterior etch and powder coat.
Security gates can also be utilised in perimeter security , for example across alleyways and passages . When customised with overhead panels and anti climb spikes along with the implementation of steel plates to negate vision and footholds for scaling they become formidable barriers to access.
